Watch Now: The Importance of Location-Based Environment-Focused Organisations

Do it Now Now has been working alongside Impact on Urban Health (IoUH) to address the climate crisis and its effects on the environment and physical wellbeing in under-served communities. The programme is working with Black and Global Majority-led organisations in Lambeth and Southwark to help support their existing interventions and expertise.

IoUH seeks to address inequalities by centering under-represented voices and their struggles with complex health issues that disproportionately affect people in low-income city boroughs. Health can be environmental, physical, mental or all of the above, and by backing grassroots initiatives with evidence-based approaches, IoUH and Do it Now Now are able bolster these vitally important organisations.

With a focus on organisational sustainability through political and economic crises, the programme offers a profound level of support through equipping participants with the necessary skills and knowledge they need to continue their important efforts.

Our Head of Learning and Programmes, Letitia Seglah, was recently interviewed alongside some of the leaders of the organisations that are participating in the programme. We encourage all to watch this inspiring and meaningful video.
