Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Do it Now Now (DINN). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and participation in our programmes, events, platforms, and services. By accessing or using any DINN services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility and Participation

1.1. Participation in DINN programmes is open to individuals and organisations who meet the criteria specified for each initiative. 

1.2. Participants must be 18 years or older unless otherwise stated. For minors, explicit written consent from a parent or guardian is required. 

1.3. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and participation.

2. Code of Conduct

2.1. All participants must engage respectfully, professionally, and inclusively. 

2.2. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. 

2.3. Breach of conduct may result in removal from programmes, platforms, and denial of future participation.

3. Digital Platforms and Community Guidelines

3.1. Use of DINN’s digital platforms (e.g., Mighty Networks, online dashboards) is subject to appropriate behaviour and community standards. 

3.2. You must not share false information, engage in harassment, promote commercial services, or disrupt community spaces. 

3.3. DINN reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to digital services in case of breach.

4. Data Collection and Privacy

4.1. DINN collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy

4.2. Data may be used for monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and research purposes. 

4.3. By participating in our services, you consent to the anonymised use of your data in aggregated reporting to funders, partners, and stakeholders.

5. Media, Photography and Voice Rights

5.1. You consent to being photographed, recorded (audio/video), or otherwise documented during DINN activities and events. 

5.2. DINN may use such media for promotional, reporting, training, and editorial purposes, including distribution to partners or use on stock image platforms. 

5.3. If you do not wish to appear in media, notify us in writing before the relevant event. We will make reasonable efforts to honour your request. 

5.4. For participants under 18, parental or guardian consent is required for media use.

6. Storytelling and Content Sharing

6.1. You may be invited to share testimonials, experiences, or creative work through our storytelling activities. 

6.2. By doing so, you grant DINN a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use the content across its media and communications platforms. 

6.3. Participants may request anonymisation or removal of identifying details, which DINN will honour where possible.

7. Safeguarding and Duty of Care

7.1. DINN is committed to the safety and well-being of all participants. We enforce strict safeguarding protocols across all services. 

7.2. Where projects involve children, young people, or vulnerable adults, appropriate safeguarding procedures will be followed including Disclosure and Barring Service checks. 

7.3. All participants must familiarise themselves with our Safeguarding Policy and act in accordance with it. 

7.4. Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to [email protected].

8. Grants and Programme Participation

8.1. Organisations and individuals receiving grant support must comply with any applicable terms in separate grant agreements or Fiscal Hosting Agreements. 

8.2. Grants must be used only for approved activities and in accordance with documentation submitted to DINN. 

8.3. DINN reserves the right to withdraw support or require repayment in cases of misuse, breach, or reputational harm.

9. Accessibility and Inclusion

9.1. DINN is committed to ensuring accessibility in its delivery. Participants may request reasonable adjustments at any time. 

9.2. Materials are offered in multiple formats where possible, and session timing is designed to accommodate diverse needs.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1. All content provided by DINN remains the intellectual property of DINN or its licensors. 

10.2. You may not reuse, republish, or redistribute DINN content without prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability and Third-Party Disclaimer

11.1. DINN is not liable for any loss, damage, or adverse outcomes arising from participation in its services or reliance on any content or guidance provided. 

11.2. All information provided through DINN services, including advice from mentors, facilitators, Critical Friends, or peers, is for general educational purposes only and should not be considered professional, financial, legal, medical, or career advice. 

11.3. DINN is not responsible for the actions, content, or quality of services provided by third-party companies, freelancers, sole traders, volunteers, or contractors associated with any programme. 

11.4. Each service user, contributor, or participant acts as an independent entity and is solely responsible for their conduct, contributions, and exchanges. DINN accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of information shared between service users.

12. Record Keeping

12.1. Participants and grant recipients must retain all records related to their participation, deliverables, and use of funds (if applicable) for a minimum of seven years following the end of the programme or project. 

12.2. These may include financial documents, project reports, and monitoring records as required for evaluation or auditing purposes.

13. Cooperation with Monitoring

13.1. DINN reserves the right to request additional documentation, clarifications, or updates at any time for the purpose of monitoring, evaluation, or compliance. 

13.2. Participants agree to respond in a timely and transparent manner.

14. Programme Changes

14.1. DINN reserves the right to adapt or update the format, content, delivery method, or schedule of any programme to best serve participants’ needs. 

14.2. Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate significant changes in advance.

15. Online Directory and Community Use

15.1. Participants are solely responsible for content they post to community spaces or directories. 

15.2. Content must not infringe the rights of others, and DINN reserves the right to moderate or remove listings that violate policy.

16. Peer Interactions

16.1. DINN encourages collaboration between participants but does not monitor or validate third-party content or opportunities shared by service users. 

16.2. Participants engage in peer-to-peer support or collaboration at their own discretion and risk.

17. Changes to Terms

17.1. DINN reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of significant changes will be posted publicly, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

18. Dispute Resolution

18.1. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal good-faith discussions. 

18.2. If unresolved, both parties agree to enter mediation prior to initiating any legal proceedings.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

19.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

19.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

20. Force Majeure

20.1. DINN shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, pandemics, natural disasters, or failures of suppliers, platforms, or infrastructure.

21. Programme Suspension or Termination

21.1. DINN reserves the right to suspend or terminate any programme or activity at any time due to funding changes, risk concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. Affected participants will be notified and, where feasible, alternative support may be offered.

22. Non-Transferability

22.1. Participation in any DINN programme, grant, or service is non-transferable. You may not assign or transfer your access, rights, or obligations to another person or organisation without written permission from DINN.

23. Breach of Terms

23.1. If you breach any of these Terms, DINN may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your participation and take legal action where necessary. You may be required to return any funds or materials received.

24. Refunds and Cancellations

24.1. This section applies to individual participants who register for and pay for fee-based public services offered by Do it Now Now (DINN), including workshops, events, and training programmes. This applies whether payment is made personally or through a business account.

This section does not apply to institutional clients or organisations receiving services through commissioned contracts or grant-funded programmes.

24.2. Participant Cancellations
Participants must notify DINN in writing at least 14 calendar days before the scheduled start date to be eligible for a full refund, in line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the event, a partial refund may be granted at DINN’s discretion (minus any administrative or non-refundable costs). No refunds will be issued for no-shows without prior written notice.

24.3. DINN Cancellations
DINN reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or amend any programme or event. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date or equivalent service. DINN is not liable for any other costs incurred by the participant.

24.4. Transfer Requests
Participants may request a transfer to another eligible person or future event by emailing [email protected] at least 72 hours before the event. All transfers are subject to availability and at DINN’s sole discretion.

24.5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and returned via the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed.

24.6. Exceptions
Some services may include separate terms overriding this policy, which will be made clear at the time of booking. DINN reserves the right to make compassionate exceptions in documented emergencies.

25. Reporting Misconduct

25.1. If you have concerns about serious wrongdoing, unethical behaviour, or misconduct by a DINN representative, you may report it confidentially to [email protected].

26. Agreement to Terms

By engaging with any service, programme, or event provided by Do it Now Now (DINN), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
