Do it Now Now is an open-innovation organisation committed to the empowerment of Black people through the provision of access to opportunities for social mobility through financial inclusion, entrepreneurship.
We bring skilled talent, charities, social entrepreneurs, startup teams, social innovators, investors and philanthropists together to address social challenges, solve problems and support the development of under-represented groups and Black communities specifically.

We do this through a number of projects and initiatives that seek to identify, engage and significantly support individuals as they seek to solve problems they have experienced in their own communities. Do it Now Now (DiNN) is seeking experienced freelance trainers to design and deliver impactful training sessions across our programme levels, supporting Black-led charities, social enterprises, and entrepreneurs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in professional education practices and a proven ability to deliver engaging, outcome-oriented training to diverse audiences.
Freelance trainers will deliver sessions across a wide range of subjects that align with DiNN’s mission to support entrepreneurial growth, community wealth-building, and systemic equity.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Design:
Develop training curricula tailored to the needs of different programme levels (pre-startup, startup, scaling, and high-growth).
Ensure alignment with DiNN’s evidence-based methodologies and goals.
Incorporate best practices in adult learning, professional education, and inclusive pedagogy.
Training Delivery:
Facilitate engaging, interactive sessions (virtual and in-person).
Use a variety of training methods (e.g., workshops, case studies, action learning, simulations) to ensure knowledge retention and practical application.
Create a safe, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
Evaluation and Feedback:
Measure learning outcomes through post-session evaluations and participant feedback.
Adapt and improve session content based on evaluation data and participant needs.
Collaborative Engagement:
Work with the Programme Manager and other trainers to ensure cohesive content delivery.
Share insights and lessons learned to inform programme improvements.

Impact measurement and reporting.

Racial justice leadership and systems change.
Advocacy, influencing, and storytelling for impact.
Community-building and collaboration.
Wellbeing and Inclusion:
Mental health and resilience for leaders.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.
Sector-Specific Training:
Arts, culture, sports, and faith-based leadership.
Financial inclusion and social enterprise management.
Environmental sustainability in organisational practices.
Essential Skills and Experience
Training Expertise:
Proven experience in designing and delivering professional training sessions (5+ years preferred).
Familiarity with adult learning theories and education best practices.
Subject Matter Knowledge:
Expertise in one or more of the areas listed above.
Awareness of challenges faced by Black-led and Global Majority organisations is a strong advantage.
Facilitation Skills:
Ability to deliver engaging, accessible, and practical training to diverse participants.
Skilled in managing group dynamics and encouraging active participation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with digital training tools (e.g., Zoom, online whiteboards, and learning management systems).
Capability to develop high-quality training materials and resources.
Preferred Attributes
Experience working with underserved communities or lived experience in relevant areas.
Creative problem-solving and adaptability to meet unique participant needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is offered on a freelance basis and is outside the scope of IR35 regulations. The successful candidate will be engaged as an independent contractor and will not be considered an employee or worker of Do it Now Now (DiNN). Consequently, no employment rights or benefits, such as holiday pay, sick leave, pensions, or other entitlements associated with employment, will be provided. The freelancer will retain responsibility for their own tax obligations, National Insurance contributions, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations as per their independent contractor status.
DiNN will not direct or control how the freelancer delivers their work, beyond agreeing on the required outcomes, ensuring alignment with the terms of the contract and project objectives. This relationship is strictly that of a service provider and client.
