This role will sit in our Learning and Programmes team which is responsible for all the training and support, service design and development, and grant-making and social investment work that DiNN does. In this dynamic position, you will work closely with our Programmes Manager to deliver impactful programmes to our community. Specifically, you will be responsible for all recruitment activities, ensuring that the right groups of people are supported to enter into our programmes. This will include both online and offline activities as well as engaging directly with other similarly focused organisations to form referral pathways between our programmes. You will also be responsible for developing our network of alumni and fostering relationships with our current cohort to ensure that they are effectively supported and empowered throughout all stages of their engagement with us.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver a schedule of events across the year that create a significant pipeline into our cohort and other types of programmes.
Be primarily responsible for recruiting people into our programmes through a multitude of methods including partnerships, referral pathways, online outreach, in-person and more.
Work directly with speakers and trainers to ensure that logistics, payments and other administrative tasks are handled well
Form strong partnerships with key stakeholders such as social enterprises, charities, workspace providers, training centres, suppliers and others
Running the administrative aspects of our events based community engagement (e.g. feedback forms)
Managing the online course administration (uploading course videos, editing automated transcriptions)
Managing a digital information library; i.e. making notes of key resources, tools and opportunities to share with our events and training participants
Facilitate events and training, both in person and virtually, by welcoming speakers, running breakout rooms, ice-breakers and other activities to make partners, freelancers and service users feel welcome
Uploading course materials into our learning and management system so that all participants are fully equipped to take part in the courses
Support with the delivery of community engagement activities such as podcasts, interviews and other outreach activities (including newsletters)
Support on all project management activities including budgeting, timelines, registering suppliers and more
Developing new ideas and opportunities for our service users to benefit from our work
Collaborate with other team members to identify new opportunities that we can advertise as benefits to our active service users, prospective service users and alumni
Deliver marketing activities that foster and enrich the pipeline of service users connected to our work from prospective to alumni
Be the main point of contact for all our service users and alumni to ensure that they are well supported to achieve the intended outcome of the programme, events and other engagements
Manage attendance and map outcomes by collecting and analysing data to forecast our ability to achieve our goals for each programme
Manage communication with prospective and existing service users and alumni on channels such as email, newsletters, WhatsApp, and community platforms such as Mighty Networks,
To carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by your line manager.
We are specifically looking for the following:
Essential - demonstrable work experience as a workshop trainer or facilitator
Essential - experience developing and delivering networking events
Essential - good project management and data analysis skills
Essential - experience developing close partnerships with key stakeholders
Essential - experience designing and delivering recruitment drives, ideally in the context of community-focused impact programmes
Essential - public speaking skills, the ability to make presentations and engage with stakeholders to form partnerships
Desirable - coaching skills/action learning set facilitator qualifications
Desirable - project management experience/qualifications
Benefits
Annual leave – significantly above legal minimum with 28 days annual leave + bank holidays (contractual.)
Pensions - All eligible employees will be enrolled in the DiNN pension scheme except for those who have contracts of three months or less. DiNN contributes an amount equivalent to 3% of the basic annual salary. (contractual.)
